On X: reply under any token post with @MEME_AGENT_YORN check and the verdict comes as an answer.
How it works: You can buy the token, but the contract blocks selling. The chart only goes up because nobody can get out.
How to spot it: /check shows "Honeypot" or "cannot sell all". Never buy before a check.
How it works: A token appears in your wallet; its name says "visit claim-xyz.com". The site asks you to connect and sign, then drains the wallet.
How to spot it: Free tokens you did not expect are bait. Do not visit, do not sell, just ignore them.
How it works: "Support" writes you first after you asked a question in a group, and asks for your seed phrase or to "validate" your wallet.
How to spot it: Admins and support never DM first. Nobody ever needs your seed phrase.
How it works: The creator adds liquidity, waits for buyers, then removes the liquidity in one transaction. The price drops to zero.
How to spot it: Check if the liquidity is locked or burned. /watch alerts you when it is pulled.
How it works: The creator can freeze any wallet holding the token. Yours gets frozen, theirs keeps selling.
How to spot it: /check: "Freeze authority active" is a red flag for meme coins.
How it works: The creator can print new tokens at any time and dump them on the market.
How to spot it: /check: mint authority should be revoked.
How it works: Buying is cheap, but selling costs 30, 50 or 99 % in tax. Your money stays in the contract.
How to spot it: For EVM tokens /check shows buy and sell tax. Above 10 % be careful.
How it works: A link that looks like a known site (phantom-claim.app, jup-rewards…) asks you to connect and approve. One signature empties the wallet.
How to spot it: Type addresses yourself or use bookmarks. Xarn removes clear phishing links here.
How it works: A dApp asks to spend "unlimited" of your token. Months later it is hacked or turns evil and takes everything.
How to spot it: Approve only what you need and revoke old approvals (revoke.cash for EVM).
How it works: A new token with the exact name and logo of a famous coin. Buyers think it is the real one.
How to spot it: Always check the contract address on the official site, never by name.
How it works: The creator buys most of the supply from many fresh wallets in the first second, so it looks spread out. Then they all sell together.
How to spot it: /check shows the top 10 holders and insider networks.
How it works: A group promises "100x, buy at 18:00". The organizers bought earlier and sell into your buy.
How to spot it: Nobody can promise returns. If someone does, you are the exit liquidity.
How it works: Bots trade the token with themselves to show big volume and a "trending" badge.
How to spot it: Look at the number of real holders, not only at volume.
How it works: Scammers send you dust from an address that looks like one you used before. Later you copy the wrong one from your history.
How to spot it: Compare the full address, not only the first and last characters.
How it works: A site or bot asks for your 12 or 24 words to "sync", "verify" or "unlock" your wallet.
How to spot it: Your seed phrase goes nowhere, ever. Not to support, not to a bot, not to a form.
How it works: A copied wallet app in an app store or from a link steals your seed phrase when you import it.
How to spot it: Download wallets only from the official site or the verified store page.
How it works: Someone copies an admin's name and picture and writes you privately.
How to spot it: Check the @username, not the display name. Real admins here never DM first.
How it works: A token account gets a "delegate" that can move your tokens without asking you again.
How to spot it: /wallet shows open approvals and delegates on Solana.
How it works: One signature turns your normal wallet into a smart wallet controlled by a drainer contract.
How to spot it: /wallet 0x… shows delegations. Unknown delegate = move funds to a fresh wallet.
How it works: Someone claims to be the developer and offers a private presale or whitelist for a payment.
How to spot it: Presales in DMs are scams. The Syndicate never runs presales.
